Steve Gorny Inducted as MATA President

During its 60th Annual Convention on June 24, 2018, the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys elected and inducted Steve Gorny as President of the organization. Steve will serve a one year term. This follows eight years on MATA’s executive committee, the last two of which he served as President Elect and Vice President.

The Missouri Association of Trial Attorney’s has more than 1,400 members. Its board consists of 116 lawyers from throughout the state of Missouri. The organization’s motto is “Helping to Balance the Scales of Justice.” MATA lawyers strive to insure fair access to the Courts for those in need. They also work to insure safer roadways, safer products, non-discriminatory work places, and to hold those accountable who shirk their responsibility to others.

With family in attendance at the Annual banquet, Steve was proud to ascend to the office of President and accept the responsibility which it brings.
