Chris graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law in 2011, where he was Order of the Coif and honored with the Missouri Law Review’s award for Best Student Note. While in law school, Chris investigated securities fraud as a law clerk with the Missouri Secretary of State, Securities Division, and served as an extern for Judge Karen King Mitchell of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District. Additionally, Chris worked for a leading plaintiff – side law firm pursuing class action securities and derivative litigation. Chris received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2007.
After law school, Chris served as a law clerk to the Honorable Patricia Breckenridge, Judge for the Supreme Court of Missouri. Prior to joining Gorny Dandurand, Chris was in private practice at a business litigation boutique, where he practiced in wage and hour, consumer class action and complex business litigation.
Chris currently serves on the board of the Young Lawyers Section for the Kansas City Metropolitan Board Association and the Lawyers Association of Kansas City. He is an active member of the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art – Young Friends of Art and the Mizzou Alumni Association – Kansas City Chapter.
